Summer fete - 6.7.12

With so many events affected by the rain over the last few weeks, we were determined that the fete would go ahead before the end of term so we went indoors to beat the dreaded water once again. Thank you to all the parents, granparents and carers who rallied round at the last minute to help pull it all together. What a great team I have, thank you. Mandy
Thank you to everyone who made delicious cakes for the fete. We raised £88.30 and had enough cakes for everyone.  image - fete 2 (Jul 12)

Annual Christmas lunch - 13.12.11

The annual Christmas lunch for the pupils and staff was held at Coningsby Community Hall. 93 children and more than 20 staff and governors sat down to a full chicken lunch complete with crackers, followed by ice cream.

Enabling us to continue a tradition of more than 20 years, we are now lucky to have Caroline Stow (a teaching assistant at the school), and Anne Steadman (her mother and former supervisor at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School)  to cater for us!

A big “thank you” to everyone who supported us in the provision of the Christmas lunch  – we couldn’t do it without each and every one of you.

Cake sale - 9.12.11

The last cake sale of 2011 brought forth a multitude of artistic creations - a sample of which are pictured - including, amongst others: angels, Christmas trees & snowmen.

Due to the weather, the sale was held in the library. The wonderful collection of cakes, biscuits and produce raised £85.20.

It was also the last chance to enter the turkey competition. The total raised from "guess where the turkey is hiding" was £81 with the winner being Belinda Butlin-Hodgson.  Our thanks go to Keith Parish for offering this prize.
